Privacy Policy

Photos Wizard ("the App") is published by Spatial AI Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App touches, where that data goes, and what choices you have.
The short version: the App does not send your photos, your activity, or any analytics off your device. Everything happens locally.
1. What the App accesses
To do its job — letting you triage your photo library — the App requests permission to access Photos through Apple's PhotoKit framework. Depending on what you choose at the system prompt, this is either your full library or only the photos you select.
PhotoKit access lets the App:
- Read photo and video thumbnails and metadata (date, dimensions, favorite/hidden flags, album membership).
- Modify items you act on: toggle favorite or hidden, request a system deletion, add to or remove from albums you authorize.
- Create the App's "Review Later" album so items you mark for later show up in the system Photos app too.
The App does not read EXIF location data beyond what PhotoKit returns for display, and it does not transmit any photo or video content anywhere.
2. What stays on your device
The following pieces of data are created and stored locally on the device you're using:
- Swipe statistics (lifetime and per-day counts of actions you took).
- Pending queues for trash and share — items you've staged but not yet committed.
- Gamification state: streak, daily progress, XP totals, and which badges you've unlocked.
- Preferences: the four direction-to-action bindings, sort and filter choices, "skip how-to-play" toggle, onboarding completion flag, and Pro entitlement cache.
These are persisted via Apple's SwiftData and UserDefaults on the device, and never transmitted to us. If you enable iCloud Backup, the data backed up by iOS may include these on-device records — that backup is between you and Apple.
3. What is sent off device
Three categories:
- PhotoKit operations. When you confirm a deletion or share, the request goes to Apple's Photos system. Deletes flow through the system delete confirmation; shares flow through the system share sheet you pick a destination in. We have no involvement in what those system surfaces do.
- Subscription purchases. If you choose to upgrade to Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple's StoreKit and routed through our subscription provider, RevenueCat, Inc., which validates the receipt and tracks your entitlement so it follows you across devices signed into the same Apple ID. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier, the purchase event, and the App Store receipt — it does not receive your name, email address, photos, or activity. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy for what they do with that data.
- Diagnostics you choose to share with Apple. If you have "Share With App Developers" enabled in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send us aggregated, anonymized crash reports. Apple controls what's in those reports; we don't.
That is the entire list. There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no tracking pixels, no remote logging service, and no calls home.
4. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that involves personal data being processed, contact us at the address below.
5. Your choices
- Revoke Photos access any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Photos Wizard. The App will switch to its "access required" screen.
- Reset on-device data from Settings inside the App: "Reset all stats", "Clear pending trash", and "Reset gamification" each wipe the corresponding records. Deleting the App removes all locally-stored data.
- Cancel Pro in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Security
On-device data is protected by iOS's standard data-protection class for the file's owner and by Apple's keychain for entitlement caches. There is no remote service we manage, and therefore no remote breach surface that could expose your data.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we'll update this document and bump the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that affect what's collected or where it goes will be highlighted in the App release notes.
